How To / Print your Wedding Stationery

Hey friend!

I thought this topic might be useful for many of you guys, so I decided to share some information regarding printing options for our templates. There are several reasons more and more people use editable printables for their wedding stationery today. A major one is affordability. Another reason is the simple and fast design/ordering process and the incredible flexibility. You also get to tap into your creative DIY side. I truly believe the printable templates are the best way to go about your wedding stationary.

When it comes to printing, you can either print at home or use a vendor. Our templates have unlimited possibilities when it comes to printing, thanks to the Templett application. Templett was made specifically for wedding stationery, and allows you to print at home or take your exported PDF or JPEG file to any print shop.

PRINT AT HOME

You can easily print your stationery at home on any card stock paper of choice. We have options for trim marks, bleed, and even options to save paper when printing at home. You also have the option of printing on 8.5″x11″ paper or in A4 format, since different countries have different standard measurements. Once printed, you can trim with scissors, a ruler and exacto knife, or the best option is a paper cutter. Check out this youtube video on how to print at home.

PRINT AT LOCAL OR ONLINE VENDOR

If you don’t own a printer or simply don’t have the time or energy to print at home, I suggest using your local FedEx Kinkos, Office Depot, Office Max or Staples, as they do a nice job for a very reasonable price. You might also have other local professional print shops in your area that accepts PDF files. There are plenty of online printing vendors out there, such as Shutterfly or Vistaprint. I suggest asking google which one is recommended in your country and area.

A LITTLE EXTRA SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Since the colors you see on your computer screen might differ slightly from the actual color of the print, please test print 1 page first. If using a vendor, you can ask for a printing test to check both color and quality before ordering all your stationery.
